Pune: In a candid exchange on Pune's Bajirao Road, Shiv Sena MLC Kishor Darade found himself at the receiving end of a sharp rebuke from a vigilant Pune resident.
The incident occurred when Darade's vehicle, with its siren blaring, caught the attention of the resident, who promptly questioned the misuse of the siren.
Darade was traveling on Pune's Bajirao Road, while his driver was driving the vehicle with the siren on. The resident then made the car's window roll down and gave them a piece of his mind.
The Pune resident questioned the driver about why he was not wearing a seatbelt. During this exchange, MLC Darade simply stared at the resident.
The resident also reprimanded MLC Darade, reminding him that they are elected by the public and should not expect special treatment. He even warned the driver not to rely on the police for protection.
MLC Darade observed the entire incident without responding. Finally, as the Pune resident was leaving, he used harsh language before walking away.
MLC Kishor Darade, who represents the Nashik Teachers' Constituency, was likely shocked by this encounter with the Pune resident. However, as the fault lay with them, they probably had no response.
Kishor Darade is a leader of the Shiv Sena's Shinde faction and was recently elected from the Nashik Teachers' Constituency, defeating the Thackeray faction's candidate. This is the second time that Kishor Darade has been elected from this constituency.
