Pune: Savitribai Phule Pune University has announced the fee structure for several new courses across its various departments, affiliated colleges, and the School of Open and Distance Learning.
The fee determination process was conducted in line with recommendations from a committee led by former Vice-Chancellor Dr. Pandit Vidyasagar.
This initiative is part of the university’s efforts to set transparent fees for self-financed programs, benefiting students across faculties including Science and Technology, Commerce and Management, and Humanities.
In the Faculty of Science and Technology, the tuition fee for the self-financed Master of Science (M.Sc.) program in Computer Science has been set at ₹40,000, with an additional laboratory fee of ₹35,000.
The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) self-financed program will require a tuition fee of ₹50,000 and a lab fee of ₹35,000.
At the Nashik sub-center, students enrolling in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program will pay a tuition fee of ₹30,250, along with a lab fee of ₹5,000.
Additionally, in affiliated colleges, the self-financed Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) program in Computer Applications has been set at ₹16,900, with a lab fee of ₹12,500.
For those pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management (B.Com.), the course fee is ₹18,600. The Bachelor of Commerce in Computer Applications program will have a tuition fee of ₹16,900, with a lab fee of ₹12,500.
The Bachelor of Commerce in International Business program has been set at ₹18,600.
These fees, established for the academic year, align with the university's commitment to standardized and clear cost structures for students and institutions alike.
