Pune: In an effort to connect with the residents of Baramati Assembly Constituency, Yugendra Pawar, Treasurer of Vidya Pratishthan, is conducting the 'Swabhiman Yatra,' a journey aimed at understanding and addressing local issues.
On the third day of the yatra, Pawar, along with his team, visited several villages, including Sawal, Jainkawadi, Katfal, Gadikhel, Pahunevadi, Shirvali, Shirsane, Kambleshwar, Sangvi, and Limtek. This initiative marks a significant step toward strengthening ties between the political leadership and the local population.
During his visit, Pawar listened to the grievances of the villagers and discussed possible solutions. He stressed the importance of generating local employment opportunities by promoting new industries in Baramati Taluka.
Pawar highlighted that under Supriya Sule’s guidance, the Pawar Charitable Trust is making constant efforts to ensure that no student’s education is hindered due to financial constraints.
This, according to him, aligns with Sharad Pawar’s long-term vision for Baramati, which has always prioritized infrastructure development, agriculture, education, employment, and healthcare.
Yugendra Pawar also urged the people of Baramati to remain united, as they did during the last Lok Sabha elections, to protect and propagate Sharad Pawar’s progressive ideals in the upcoming assembly elections.
He emphasized that in the current political scenario, the philosophies of Mahatma Jotiba Phule, Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar are essential for the state's progress.
Pawar proudly stated that Baramati has consistently stood for truth and will continue to reject any negative ideologies that try to infiltrate.
The yatra began from Shri Kshetra Kanheri, and along the way, Pawar was accompanied by prominent figures like Satish Khomne, Adv. S. N. Jagtap, Prashant Borkar, and Gaurav Jadhav.
