The much anticipated Marathi film starring Mukta Barve, Sukanya Kulkarni, and Sarang Sathe has been creating a lot of buzz online. The teaser and the poster are receiving loads of love from the audience. The two- two-minute-thirty-second clip has mesmerized people captivating their attention and leaving them wanting to know more. The clip shows a heartwarming equation between a maid and the lady of the house.
The movie is all set to be released in Pune on the 1st of May, which also happens to be Maharashtra Day.

The creators of the film promise a fun-filled journey into the quirky world of women’s experiences in the file, Nach Ga Ghuma- it was originally sung by Shakuntala Jadhav as a part of a music album in 2005. Nach Ga Guma means- dance maid, the line that follows is Kashi Mi Nachu meaning how can I dance? The movie is a perfect example where wit meets emotions to celebrate the essence of womanhood.
Women in Pune usually perform these during Magalagaurs; a celebration for womanhood from Konkan to Vidarbha when the Shravan showers pour in Maharashtra, women gear up for Managalagaur- a ritual made up of song, dance, and amusing games. Pointing at the movie, its director Prakash Mokashi said, “ It is a movie about womanhood and the practices and customs related to it. The movie shows the minute details a woman faces in her daily life along with the mighty fights she throws back.
Marathi Industry in recent times has given the world some great cinema, the youth are captivated by the experimental stories brought by the Marathi creators and are paving the way for them to grow on social media. 93 Marathi movies were released in the year 2023 out of which Jhimma and Baipan Bhaar Deva caused a shake at the box-office, apparently booth the movies closely looked at the problems faced by women at several stages of life.
