Starting this Saturday, October 19, ‘Tell Me a Story’ will showcase works from more than 40 artists at the Poona Western Club in Bhugaon.
The exhibition, organized by the art group Kalagosti, founded by Smita Raje-Deshpande and Manisha Vedpathak, will feature a variety of artistic expressions, including paintings, sculptures, dance, poetry, and audio-visual installations. Visitors can experience this diverse collection until Monday, October 21, with viewing hours from 11 AM to 8 PM.
‘Urja’ Youth Music Concert on October 20
In a bid to provide young artists a stage to showcase their talents, Meso Kalavardhini and Swaradhar Foundation are hosting the ‘Urja’ Youth Music Concert on Sunday, October 20.
The event, which begins at 10 AM, will take place at the Bhave Primary School auditorium in Sadashiv Peth. The concert will feature performances by emerging artists, including a tabla solo by Aniruddha Deshpande, a sitar recital by Kalyani Deshpande, and vocals by Kedar Kelkar. This event is open to all music lovers.
‘Prakriti – The Essence of Nature’ Art Exhibition from October 23
Art enthusiasts will have the opportunity to explore nature-themed works at the ‘Prakriti – The Essence of Nature’ exhibition, organized by painter Kalyani Bhogle and crochet artist Rachana Bajaj.
The exhibition will be held from October 23 to 27 at the Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery on Ghole Road. Visitors can enjoy the display of nature's diverse expressions through the mediums of painting and crochet art, with the exhibition open daily from 11 AM to 7 PM.
