Pune: The threat received by Vasant More has taken a new turn with serious allegations made by Sainath Babar. More, a Shiv Sena leader, had recently filed a complaint at Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station, stating that he received a threatening call while in Mumbai from an unknown number.
The caller allegedly warned him of dire consequences by a specific date. More reported the incident to the police and expressed suspicion towards MNS leader Sainath Babar. He also demanded swift action against the unidentified caller, threatening to stage a protest otherwise.
In a surprising development, Sainath Babar has countered with serious accusations against Vasant More. According to Babar, the whole incident might be a fabricated story.
MNS Pune city leader Sudhir Dhavade had posted something on Facebook, to which Vasant More's nephew, Pratik Koditkar, allegedly responded with obscene comments. MNS claimed these comments were made at More's behest.
A police complaint was filed, and investigations were ongoing. Babar suggests that More’s anger over this incident might have led him to file a false complaint against him using a phone call as a pretext.
Babar further alleges that the person who made the threatening call might be associated with More’s group. He urged the police to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident to reveal the truth.
If the investigation finds that the caller is indeed connected to More, Babar demands strict action against More for manipulating the situation for political gain.
This escalation highlights the growing tensions and allegations between the two political factions, with the police now tasked with uncovering the truth behind the threats and the allegations of misconduct.
