Pune-based crane company, United Crane Components, which was reportedly planning to move to Gujarat due to inadequate road access, has now decided to stay in Maharashtra. This decision comes after the local administration promised to build a new road for the company's operations in Mulshi Taluka.
After hearing about the company's potential move, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Chandrakant Pulkundwar immediately intervened by meeting with the company' Managing Director Etienne Chaperon.
During the discussions, the administration assured that the necessary road infrastructure would be developed. Consequently, the company reversed its decision to relocate to Gujarat.
Officials from the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation department have surveyed the site, and the construction of a 110-meter road leading to Dhanvewadi will soon begin.
Local farmers have given their consent for the project, and the land measurement process has already started. The road is expected to be a cement concrete structure, ensuring long-term durability.
Expressing his gratitude, Etienne Chaperon, Managing Director, United Crane Components, said, "We are committed to growing our business in Pune and even expanding with additional companies. The new road will not only facilitate the company's operations but is also expected to benefit the local community by improving transportation and access to nearby areas.
