Pune: A team from G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management (GHRCEM), Pune, has achieved an impressive 4th place in the prestigious UST D3CODE International Hackathon 2024.

Led by Omkar Deshpande from the AI Department, the team included Piyush Joshi, Parth Bhor, and Rajtilak Joshi, all from the Computer Engineering Department.

The team’s remarkable performance earned them an Honorary Mention and a cash prize of ₹2 lakhs.

The UST D3code International Hackathon 2024, organized by UST Global, saw participation from 7,200 teams across India, making the team’s accomplishment even more noteworthy.

In addition to the cash prize, the GHRCEM team members received potential job offers from UST India, enhancing their future career prospects.

Dr. R. D. Kharadkar, Director of GHRCEM Pune, expressed his pride in the students' achievement, stating, "This remarkable success reflects the innovation, dedication, and technical expertise of our students.

Chairman of Raisoni Education, Sunil Raisoni, and Executive Director, Shreysh Raisoni, also congratulated the students for their exceptional achievement and lauded their efforts in representing the college on an international stage.

Recently, GHRCEM B Tech Electrical Engineering student Aksah Mastud has received 2024-2025 granted Fellowship from IIT Bombay's TIH foundation. This fellowship provides him grant of ₹30,000/- per month for up to one year.
