The man, referred to as a "Road Romeo," faced public wrath after reportedly teasing a woman in a crowded public space.

The video sparked widespread outrage, with citizens supporting the woman’s response. However, the Pimpri-Chinchwad police have clarified that the incident did not take place in Pimpri-Chinchwad, contrary to initial claims.

According to reports, the video was initially believed to be from the Phulenagar area of the city, but a thorough investigation by the police has confirmed that this information was incorrect.

Senior Police Inspector Ganesh Jamadar from the Bhosari MIDC police station stated that the viral clip is not from Phulenagar or any other part of Pimpri-Chinchwad.

The video captures a disturbing scene in which the woman, allegedly harassed by the man, takes matters into her own hands. She is seen repeatedly beating him with a sandal, while nearby citizens verbally confront him and force him to apologize to her. As the situation escalates, more people join in the attack, kicking and hitting the man as he lies on the ground.
