The case involves allegations of evidence tampering and attempts to fabricate new evidence on the first day of the incident.

In this case, the father of the minor and a construction businessman, Vishal Surendrakumar Agarwal, his wife Shivani Vishal Agarwal (both residents of Bungalow No. 1, Brahma Suncity, Wadgaon Sheri), Head of Forensic Department at Sassoon Hospital Dr. Ajay Taware, Chief Medical Officer of the Emergency Department Dr. Shrihari Halnor, Ashpak Makandar, and Amar Gaikwad are currently lodged in Yerawada Jail. After the charge sheet was filed in this case, the accused applied for bail. Opposing the bail application, Special Public Prosecutor Shishir Hiray argued that on the very first day of the incident, the accused not only tampered with the evidence along with the documents but also attempted to create new evidence.

He stated that the judiciary needs proper evidence according to the law to deliver the right decision. Hence, this is a play with the judicial system, which must be taken very seriously.

After hearing arguments from both sides, the court rejected the bail applications. Meanwhile, the Agarwal family has filed an application in the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) here to get the car involved in the accident back. The next hearing on this application is scheduled for August 28.
