The complaint was lodged against Harsh Kapoor, a resident of Konark Exotica located on the Wagholi-Kesnand Road.

The incident occurred on September 17, during an immersion procession organized by the residents of the society. Women participated in the festivities by playing drums.

It was during this time that Kapoor allegedly attempted to make inappropriate advances towards them. One of the women involved in the procession reported the incident to another female resident of the society, prompting further action.

Following the conclusion of the procession, the woman and her friends remained at the venue to chat. She disclosed Kapoor's misconduct to her friends, who confirmed that he had made lewd remarks while observing them during a fashion show held in conjunction with the Ganesh festival celebrations.

Upon realizing the severity of Kapoor's inappropriate behavior towards the women, the victim decided to file a complaint with the police.
