Over the past few months, Shivani had been persistently asking Gopal to buy her a mobile phone, a demand that remained unfulfilled due to the couple’s financial difficulties. Despite Gopal's efforts to accommodate her wishes, he was unable to provide the desired phone.

According to the Wakad Police, the situation reached a devastating conclusion on Wednesday when Shivani, left alone in the house, resorted to suicide by hanging herself.

Gopal discovered the tragic scene upon returning from work and immediately informed the authorities. The police quickly responded to the call and conducted a preliminary investigation, which revealed that Shivani's death was driven by her unmet desire for a mobile phone.
