The victim, a student of an English medium school in Warje, has four sisters. Her mother works privately and was often away from home when the abuse took place.

The school's principal, who filed the complaint, was first informed of the abuse by the school’s social worker. They immediately took the girl to a counseling room, where she revealed the horrifying details of her father’s repeated assaults.

The girl told the principal that her father had been forcing her into sexual acts for over a year. He would send her sisters out of the house, force her to watch obscene videos on her mother's phone, and gag her with a cloth before sexually assaulting her.

The abuse sometimes occurred at night when everyone else was asleep, with the father taking her to the terrace of their building.

When the school summoned both parents for questioning, they examined the mother's mobile phone and found obscene content. The parents explained that they beat their daughter to discipline her, claiming she would not obey them and stayed up all night watching videos.

The principal advised them against hitting the children and confiscated the victim’s mobile phone for further investigation.

Shockingly, shortly after leaving the school, the father returned and threatened the girl during a class break, warning her not to reveal the abuse to anyone. He threatened to beat her if she did not comply. The girl immediately informed the school’s social worker, who contacted the police.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Sambhaji Kadam confirmed the arrest, stating that the accused has been remanded to four days of police custody, and further investigations are ongoing.
