Pune: The Water Supply Department has announced that due to essential maintenance work on the main valve and pipeline at the Kedareshwar Pumping Station in Katraj, the water supply to South Pune will be suspended on Thursday, September 26.

The work involves repairs on critical infrastructure necessary to maintain the city's water distribution system.

The department has also informed residents that water supply will resume on Friday, September 27, but it will likely be delayed and available at reduced pressure throughout the day.

The areas affected by the water outage include: Balaji Nagar, Punayi Nagar, Kashinath Patil Nagar, Shri Hari Society, Katraj village, Gujarwadi Phata, Gujarwadi Road, Varkhade Nagar, Omkar, Bhushan Society, Utkarsh Society, Rajas Society, Kadam Plaza,

Sukhsagar Nagar (Parts 1 and 2), Agam Mandir area, Santosh Nagar, Anjali Nagar, Dattnagar, Jambhulwadi Road, Ambegaon Road, Wonder City area, More Baug area, Chandrabhaga Nagar, Bharti Vidyapeeth back area, the entire Katraj-Kondhwa Road, Shivshambho Nagar, Gokul Nagar,
