US President Joe Biden managed to fall upon a staircase not once or twice but three times while trying to board the Air Force One presidential aircraft on Friday.

The incident occurred while Biden was boarding the Air Force One after meeting Asian-American Community leaders in Atlanta.

The video of the US President, which has been shared widely on social media, shows Biden climbing about dozens of stairs before tripping. After which he gained his balance and tried to move up but managed to stumble two more times. Further after giving his left knee a rub, the President climbed the rest of the stairs with the support of the railing. Finally after reaching the doorstep of the aircraft, Biden turned and saluted US Marines.

The deputy White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre insisted that the President stumbled due to the weather and the president is doing fine. “It’s pretty windy outside, it’s very windy. I almost fell coming up the steps myself. He is doing 100 percent fine,” Jean-Pierre said at the press briefing.

Joe Biden, who has 78 is the oldest serving President in US history, has often been criticized for his old age and fitness.

Donald Trump Jr, the son of the former president, took a dig at the US President and tweeted that “President of the United States is so frail that he got knocked over repeatedly by a gust of wind.”
