AISSMS CHMCT conducts meeting of ex-students

PUNE: An alumni meet was organised at AISSMS College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (CHMCT) recently. The meet was attended by alumni committee members president Shailendra Darekar, Prachi Wani (Secretary), Dr Meyola Dias Fernandez (Treasurer), Pradyun Pokish (Member), Sarvesh Jadhav (Member) and Sneha Joglekar (Member).

The committee had four main awards across the batches namely: Old wine award 2019 was awarded to Rakesh Shetty (Owner of Blue Water Restaurant) for outstanding contribution to the industry. Intercontinental Presence award 2019 was awarded to Shruti Bhat Rozario (owner of Jewels of India, Canberra, Australia). Nikhil Unni Krishnan (Owner at Bubble Bee and Highland Lounge) received the Rising Star award 2019, while Sarvesh Jadhav (owner at Austin 40 café) won the Contribution to the Alumni Association Award 2019. 

The startup, an innovation cell of the college under the guidance of Milind Peshve, initiated the awards for outstanding Alumni Entrepreneur to Omkar Aglave (Kruks and Brunes), Omkar Antre (Food Stylist), Piyush Deshmukh (Chef by the Way Café), Kunika Kulkarni (Kuks & Cakes), Rohan Joglekar (Sai Krishna Restaurant), Aniket Phule (Masaledar Biriyani), Kasem Ali Khajeenonie (Irani Café), Siddhartha Chabukswan (Cake College Katta), Anish Sahastrabudhe (Spice and Ice events), Chetan Dalvi (Zostel, Panchagani), Ambar Rode (Le Petit Amour Patisserie) and Sumit Kisar (Apicio). The event was organised under the guidance of institute Principal Sonali Jadhav.
