PUNE: Singapore-based strategic investor Technogen has invested in agriculture ERP platform - FarmERP. FarmERP is focusing on building AI-based climate resilience intelligence to help its users to mitigate climate risks in agriculture and achieve sustainability, designed by Shivrai Technologies Pvt. Ltd. 

This advanced digital agriculture platform is being used in around 25 countries and with 23 modules and 600+ screens. It is a comprehensive smart ERP platform serving agribusiness companies, financial institutions, crop insurance companies, governments, non-governmental organisations, farmer producer companies and R&D institutions.

“We have been successful in helping agribusinesses to achieve higher efficiency, higher yields, higher profitability, and complete traceability since last 18 years,” said Sanjay Borkar, CEO and Co-founder of FarmERP 

“And now, we focus on climate-resilient agriculture, predictable and intelligent agriculture is future and we are committed to empowering our clients across the globe to take on new challenges in this competitive landscape,” Borkar added.

He stressed on the fact that ‘climate action’ and ‘zero hunger’ are UN’s important sustainable development goals. Santosh Shinde, COO and Co-founder, explained how this funding will make a difference.

“The company will use the funding to combine the FarmERP Platform with climate resilient intelligence. And it will also be used to reach out and enter into new markets and geographies around the world to solve the problems agriculture faces in those regions,” Shinde said.
