Pune: The investiture ceremony of the student council of JN Petit Technical High School for academic year 2017-18 was held recently in the School Prayer Hall.
The ceremony started with the arrival of the principal and vice-principal.
After the school song, the newly elected members marched in with confidence ready to shoulder the responsibility and accountability that came with their new positions.
The office-bearers of the four houses were invested ceremoniously with the presentation of badges and administration of the oath of office. The newly appointed leaders promised to discharge their duties honestly and sincerely.
The principal addressed the student council members to be role models.
He emphasised the significant role of the parents and the teachers in the growth and development of their children.
