Pune: Irritated over continuous honking by a car driver, a young woman walking her dog obstructed traffic on Fergusson College road in front of Subway outlet on Saturday afternoon. Deccan police had a tough time pacifying the lady and managed to clear the traffic after a few minutes. Meanwhile, onlookers gathered at the spot recorded videos of the entire incident which have gone viral over the social media.

Deccan police have made a station diary entry about the incident. The woman resides in a society at Bhandarkar road. Police officials claimed that she was mentally unstable. No legal action has been taken against her so far.

In one of the viral videos which is 27 seconds long, the woman can be seen standing in the middle of the road with her leashed dog arguing with the car driver. The woman did not allow the car to move ahead or behind while standing against its bonnet.

In another video, two women police constables can be seen dragging the woman to the road side and other policemen clearing the piled up traffic on FC road. In the third video, the woman is seen in a scuffle with a woman police constable and another girl arguing with her.

Earlier in July month, a video of a woman chasing her husband's Range Rover on Pedder Road had gone viral. The woman - suspecting her husband having an extra marital affair - had obstructed his car and climbed on the bonnet of the vehicle. When the other woman tried to drive away, she ran after the vehicle, opened the door and kicked the man. The traffic movement on Pedder Road was briefly affected. The Mumbai traffic police had then issued a challan to the woman for abandoning her vehicle in the middle of the road, which led to traffic jam. No criminal offence was registered against her too.
