Pune: The water supply department of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has declared that areas under Lashkar Jal Kendra and New Holkar Pumping centre will not receive drinking water supply for the entire day on Thursday (March 04). The areas will not receive the water supply amid electrical repair and maintenance works at the pumping centre, officials at PMC’s (Pune Municipal Corporation) water supply department informed.
The civic body has requested all citizens to take note of this and cooperate with the authorities over the same.
The areas which come under the Lashkar Pumping Station are as follows: Camp, Pune Station, Mula Road, Koregaon Park, Tadiwala Road, Pune Racecourse, Wanawadi, Kondhwa, Hadapsar, Mahammadwadi, Kalepadal, Mundhwa, Yerawada, Vishrantwadi, Nagar Road, Kalyani Nagar, Maharashtra Housing Board, Wadgaon Sheri, Chandan Nagar, Kharadi, Solapur Road, Gondhale Nagar and Satavwadi.
Also the areas such as, Kalas-Dhanori, Lohegaon, Tingre Nagar, Vishrantwadi, Viman Nagar, Nagar Road area will not receive water on Thursday.
PMC has also informed that on Friday (March 05) drinking water supply in these areas may be done with low pressure. PMC has appealed citizens to take note of the changes in water supplies and cooperate with the civic body.
