Pune: A Qatar armed forces delegation led by its Chief of Staff visited Pune on Thursday. The delegation was led by Lt Gen (Pilot) Ghanim Bin Shaheen Al Ghanim. The delegation was on a four-day visit to India, which began on June 19.
As a part of the visit, the delegation visited Pune on Thursday and were in the city till Friday.
The delegation visited Air Force Station in Lohegaon on Thursday where they were briefed by the Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station, Lohegaon, they also interacted with officers.
On Friday, Lt Gen (Pilot) Ghanim along with his delegation met Lt Gen Manoj Pande, Chief of Staff, Headquarters Southern Command.
The officers interacted and discussed the best practices being followed by both the armies, they also discussed the future plans and exchanged mementoes with one another. The delegation visited the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla and then left back for Qatar.
