Pune: Reputed scientist Medha Khole, who had filed a case of cheating against her cook at Sinhgad road police station on Thursday, has taken her
complaint back.
Khole had alleged that her cook Nirmala Yadav identified herself as Nirmala Kulkarni, thereby cheating her. Nirmala had also lodged a case of assault against her.
Speaking to Sakal Times, Assistant Commissioner of Police Shivaji Pawar said that Khole has submitted an application to the Sinhgad road police station on Saturday, and has requested that she is taking her complaint against Nirmala back.
On Friday, there was a massive protest by various organisation against Khole, and some organisations had requested Khole and Nirmala to solve the case amicably, rather than taking the judicial route.
