India's injury problems continued as India's pacer Navdeep Saini picked injury during the first day of the fourth Test at Gabba on Friday.

WHAT HAPPENED EXACTLY

When the right-arm pacer was bowling eighth over of the match, he bowled a delivery that straightened off the seam just outside off and Marnus Labuschagne got an outside edge to gully. However, Ajinkya Rahane dropped a simple catch and gave Marnus Labuschagne a life.

Onto his next delivery, Saini who was preparing pulled his hamstring and did some stretching. The physio came on the field and Saini walked off the field as Rohit Sharma finished Saini's over.

According to reports, Navdeep Saini will undergo scans and his report will be known later in the evening. Saini now joins the list of injury-hit players like Umesh Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami.
