IPL 2021 Auction Live Updates: Arjun Tendulkar joins Mumbai Indians
The much-awaited auction for IPL (Indian Premier League) started in Chennai ahead of the 14th edition. In a much-awaited, Arjun Tendulkar was sold to Mumbai Indians at Rs 20 lakh. While, Kedar Jadhav and Harbhajan Singh were selected by Mumbai Indians while Bhajji was selected by KKR. New Zealand's pacer Kyle Jamieson who played 6 Tests, 2 ODIs and 4 T20Is was sold for huge amount of Rs 15 crore to RCB. Earlier, Tamil Nadu's Shahrukh Khan was sold to Punjab Kings at Rs 5.25 crore. His base price was Rs 20 lakh. Meanwhile, in the biggest signing so far, South Africa's all-rounder Chris Morris was sold at whopping Rs 16.25 crore to Rajasthan Royals. Glenn Maxwell hit jackpot and was sold to RCB at Rs 14.25 while his national teammate Jhye Richardson also got Rs 14 crore and was bought by Kings Punjab.

11 players have a base price of Rs 2 crores and only two of them are Indians, Harbhajan Singh and Kedar Jadhav.
