Avid fans of Xiaomi don't require any introduction to their iconic Redmi series. The tech-giant unveiled Redmi Note 10 series in India today, which includes Redmi Note 10, Pro and Pro Max. We tell you all about their line-up this year and if you should upgrade yourself:
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max
Camera: 120 Hz Super AMOLED | 108 MP Quad Camera
Like Redmi Note 9 series, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max comes with a quad-camera setup featuring a 108MP primary camera, 8MP Ultrawide lens, 5MP Super-Macro and a 2MP depth sensor.
The front camera is a 16MP in-display camera with the tiniest punch hole made and measuring a mere 2.96mm in diameter. Redmi Note 10 Pro Max features the 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 camera sensor, which is the third generation of the 108MP camera sensor and is reportedly the thinnest ever designed.
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max also has a 5MP Super Macro camera sensor. Super Macro lens is a Telephoto lens integrated into the Macro lens. The tech giant claims that it can be zoomed 2X further, enabling a very different perspective to the macro camera experience.
Lastly, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max features an 8MP Ultra Wide sensor allowing consumers incredible ultra-wide shots up to 118 degrees. The 2MP sensor also allows bokeh shots.
Xiaomi has also enhanced the camera app, lending new tools for social media creators, with features such as Night mode 2.0, VLOG mode, Dual video, Pro Video mode, Magic Clone, Long exposure mode. It features a 16MP front camera for high-quality selfies, videography and Face Unlock.
Display: 120Hz Refresh Rate
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max has a display of 16.9cm (6.67) Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, with 1200 nits of peak brightness, 120 Hz refresh rate, 100 per cent DCI-P3 wide colour gamut and HDR10 support.
The Super AMOLED panel brings a 120Hz refresh rate providing a vibrant experience that is a new addition to the Redmi smartphone. The 120Hz refresh rate ensures that games with higher FPS run smoothly on Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. The Super AMOLED panel comes with a peak brightness of 1200 nits.
Design: EVOL Design
The Redmi Note 10 series introduces an all-new EVOL design language that brings a radical change in the overall design on Redmi devices. The back panel features a dual-tone premium matte frosted glass back, which is a first for the Note series.
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max boasts of a dual stereo speaker setup. It also retains the 3.5mm jack as well as the IR blaster for accessibility purposes. For secure unlocking, the device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint, with support for double-tap gestures.

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is powered by Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 732G chipset, which is an 8nm Processor featuring Kryo 470 architecture which clocks up to 2.3GHz.
Snapdragon™ Elite Gaming with Adreno 618 ensures that graphics on Redmi Note 10 Pro Max offer 15 per cent faster graphics performance than its predecessor.
Battery life: 5020mAH with 33W fast charging
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max features a massive 5020mAh battery that will last for more than a day, and up to two days under moderate usage conditions. It also comes with a 33W in-box fast charger that fuels the device from 0 to 59 per cent in 30 minutes.
Even though it retains the 5020mAh battery like its predecessor, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max comes 16 grams lighter and 0.7mm thinner than Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.

Display: Redmi Note 10 sports a 16.33cm(6.43) Super AMOLED display with 1100nits peak brightness and 100 per cent DCI-P3 wide colour gamut. The display comes with a 180Hz touch sampling rate, which further reinforces the phone’s extraordinary display capabilities.
Design: Redmi Note 10 comes with an all-new EVOL design. It further comes with a Hi-res certified stereo speaker and a Z-Axis vibration motor. The device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and for secure unlocking, the device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that supports double-tap gestures and AI face unlock. Like the Note Pro series, it also retains the IR Blaster and 3.5mm jack.

Camera: Redmi Note 10 comes with a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor paired with a quad-camera setup. The 48MP sensor is coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro sensor, allowing users to get really close to the subject for macro photography. On the front, there is a 13MP camera for selfies.
Battery: The phone comes with a 5000mAh battery, and a 33W charger-in-box. The company also claims that the Redmi Note 10 juices up from 0 to 67 per cent in 30 minutes. In addition, it is 0.66mm thinner and 20.2g lighter than the Redmi Note 9, making it ideal for single-handed usage.
Like the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max and Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 also comes with an IP52 rating for protection against dust and water ingress.
